Elsa Kennedy is a Boston-based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and multidisciplinary creative and performing artist originally from Kentucky. They are ecstatic to be joining SitW 2026 for their second season as Composer, Sound Designer and Music Director, and first as a member of the cast. Kennedy has written over 200 original songs, including four self-produced LPs and an EP, a queer Shakespearean rock opera, scores for multiple films and theatrical projects, hours of secular worship music and a five-part piano suite orchestrating symptoms of CPTSD. They made their acting debut as Lead Actress in the award-winning indie film ‘Everything Will Be Fine In The End’, for which they were nominated Best Actress by the Europa Film Festival (2022). Recent acting credits include ‘Super Troopers 3’, ‘Dead City’ Season 3, Natasha Lyonne’s ‘Poker Face’ Season 1 and Kwame Kwei-Armah’s ‘The Collaboration’. Recent scores include Drew Lichtenberg & Elizabeth Dinkova’s literary play The White Bitch, the upcoming feature documentary ‘The Aftereffect’, short films ‘Go Fish’ and ‘The Presence’, and the rock opera Horatio.
