SUPPORT SITW

Donor Giving Tiers & Season Perks

Your donation is pivotal support that allows us to sustain SitW's continued growth as a result of our success. With each season, SitW is strengthening its roots as an unconventional theatre org working towards a sustainable infrastructure in Vermont. We've been able to attract some of the most exciting new and emerging theatre artists in the industry to come work with us, thanks to our standards for a high quality of productions and a bold, singular approach to reimagining Shakespeare for the here and now.  As a result, our productions offer audiences a theatrical experience filled with exceptional talent, innovative design and impactful storytelling all while being immersed in Vermont's Great Outdoors.

SitW is at its core a manifestation of queer artistic expression. The company has built a creative space in Southern VT for BIPOC & LGBTQIA+ artists to bring their full uncompromising selves to their work, which also provides a cyclical opportunity with audiences, especially those holding intersecting identities, to experience authentic representation in theatre. We know that access to art is pivotal for a healthy, fruitful life. The arts are essential for social wellness. As a theatre co producing explicitly queer, socially conscious, and innovative work in a small, rural state we know this to be especially true.

Additionally and importantly, it's an incredible way to invest in community - when you make a donation, you're not only supporting SitW and a thriving and accessible professional arts scene in the Green Mountains, you're contributing to the strength and wellness of the region's community. We are asking individual donors like you to consider the widespread, meaningful impact of your fiscal gift when you give generously and vigorously.

Make a secure online donation via Give Butter Platform

All donations are tax-deductible, with the exclusion of Perks estimated market value. All Perks are optional and at the Donor's discretion to accept or forgo.

Shakespeare in the Woods is fiscally sponsored by The Center for Arts and Learning. For questions about donating to SitW via stock, DAF, or other assets, please contact Phayvanh Luekhamhan at: director@cal-vt.org
